After killing a girl and turning to Instagram for help in disposing of her body, Bensalem, Pennsylvania police arrested a 16-year-old boy on Friday.
The Bensalem Police said 9-1-1 operators were contacted by parents of a concerned party who reported their daughter received an Instagram video chat from a 16-year-old acquaintance, later identified as Joshua Cooper.
Before asking for help with disposing of the body, Cooper flipped the video image to show blood-covered legs.
The police were informed Cooper lived in Top of the Ridge Trailer Park in Bensalem, so officers went there to check it out.
From the back of the trailer, a juvenile boy ran out as officers arrived, police said.
Officers entered the mobile home and found a deceased girl with a gunshot wound on the floor of the bathroom.
Officers also noticed “substantial steps” had been taken to clean up the scene.
A short time later, additional officers located Cooper and took him into custody.
He was charged as an adult with criminal homicide, possession of criminal instruments, and evidence tampering.
Judge Stacy Wertman denied the suspect bail and sent him to Edison Juvenile Detention Center following his arraignment in Bucks County District Court.
