DOWNERS GROVE, IL – The tranquility of a suburban afternoon shattered when police pulled over a 30-year-old teacher, Christina Formela, and placed her under arrest. The seemingly routine traffic stop quickly escalated into a bewildering ordeal for Formela and her husband, who found themselves entangled in a situation they could not comprehend.
