(AbsoluteNews.com) – Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t had a great year. Sure, she made history when she was sworn in as the first woman and first person of color to serve as VP, but it’s been all downhill since then. Now, her staffers are fleeing from her office.
Vincent Evans, the VP’s deputy director of public engagement and intergovernmental affairs, told CNBC he’s resigning from his position to take a position with the Congressional Black Caucus. The CBC advocates for black people through policy changes specifically targeting their community. Harris reportedly supports Evans’ decision to resign.

Ordinarily, a staffer moving to a different position in the government wouldn’t raise many red flags, but it comes on the heels of other high-profile resignations. In November, Ashley Etienne, the vice president’s former communications director, left her position. In December, Symone Sanders, Harris’ chief spokesperson also resigned.
The resignations come amid rumors the vice president’s office is a toxic work environment and the relationship between her and President Joe Biden is allegedly strained. Harris’ officials have denied the allegations but they persist. Relations have reportedly deteriorated so much it’s unclear whether the POTUS will support his VP if he chooses not to run in 2024.
The vice president’s year is not off to a good start.
