Cupertino, California – Apple announced today that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place online from June 9 to 13, 2025. In addition to the virtual conference, developers and students will have the opportunity to participate in a special in-person event at Apple Park on the opening day of the conference.
WWDC25, which will be free for all developers, is set to showcase the latest advancements in Apple software. By hosting the conference online, Apple aims to provide developers with unique access to Apple experts and offer insights into new tools, frameworks, and features to support their continued innovation.
Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, expressed excitement about connecting with the global developer community for another year of WWDC. She emphasized Apple’s commitment to empowering developers through the sharing of tools and technologies that drive innovation.
Keynote presentations and sessions on the latest Apple software and technologies will be accessible to developers and students throughout the week via the Apple Developer app, Apple Developer website, and Apple Developer YouTube channel. The conference agenda includes video sessions and opportunities to interact with Apple engineers and designers in virtual labs.
To kick off the conference, Apple will host an in-person experience on June 9 at Apple Park, where developers can watch the Keynote and engage with Apple experts individually and in group sessions. In support of the next generation of developers, Apple will also run the Swift Student Challenge as part of the conference. Winners will have the opportunity to participate in the special in-person event at Apple Park, and 50 Distinguished Winners will be invited to a three-day experience in Cupertino, California.
