Harrisburg, Pennsylvania – Pennsylvania State Police are on the lookout for an arsonist responsible for causing significant damage to Governor Josh Shapiro’s official residence in Harrisburg. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, prompted a response from state police who arrived at the residence and evacuated the family without any injuries.
In a statement shared on social media, Governor Shapiro expressed gratitude towards the authorities who ensured the safety of his family during the incident. The Governor, along with his wife Lori, was awakened by banging on the door at 2 a.m. Shapiro emphasized the importance of supporting law enforcement and first responders who work tirelessly to protect communities.
