Henrico, Virginia – Autumn Crittendon, known as Autumn Oxley from MTV’s “16 and Pregnant”, tragically passed away at the age of 27 in a home in Henrico, Virginia. The Henrico Police Department confirmed her death after responding to a medical emergency call at the residence on Saturday afternoon. Despite efforts by paramedics to revive her, Crittendon was pronounced dead at the scene.
The authorities in Henrico County have initiated a death investigation and are collaborating with the medical examiner to ascertain the precise cause and circumstances surrounding Crittendon’s untimely passing. Crittendon rose to prominence on the reality show “16 and Pregnant”, where viewers followed her journey through pregnancy and the birth of her first son, Drake. She later expanded her family with the addition of two more children.
The news of Crittendon’s passing was initially shared by her sister Misty on Facebook, although the post has since been removed. Unfortunately, Crittendon is not the first member of the “16 and Pregnant” cast to face such tragedy in recent years. Valerie Fairman from Season 2 passed away in 2016 at the age of 23 due to a drug overdose, while Jordan Cashmyer, featured in the series in 2014, succumbed to a fatal combination of fentanyl and cocaine in 2022. Sean Grainger, known as the father of Selena Gutierrez’s child in Season 6B, also met a tragic end in March due to an ATV accident at the age of 20. Additionally, Derek Underwood, the father of Farrah Abraham’s baby, died in a car crash in 2008 shortly before the birth of the child.
