Brennan Barred From Classified Info

(AbsoluteNews.com) – Former CIA Director John Brennan has been one of President Donald Trump’s most vocal enemies. The Obama Administration official has accused the commander-in-chief of trying to “delegitimize” the intelligence community. Meanwhile, he’s writing a book about his time in the government.

Now, the president is taking action to keep the former director from spilling secrets.

According to a report by the Washington Examiner, Brennan has been banned from accessing his classified notes and records. The former CIA director reportedly talks about it in his book, “Undaunted: My Fight Against America’s Enemies, at Home and Abroad”.

The White House confirmed the president revoked Brennan’s security clearance. Spokesman Judd Deere said the decision was made as a result of the former chief’s “erratic behavior.” He also indicated Trump believes classified information should only be accessed “for the benefit of the government and the American people.”

Using classified notes and records to write a book and enrich oneself doesn’t benefit the US in any way. It only serves to help Brennan’s personal aspirations. One would think a man who served in the highest ranks of the government would have more respect for its institutions.
