A professor at Carnegie Mellon University wrote a series of vile tweets mocking Queen Elizabeth II, including one that said she hoped the monarch’s final hours of pain would be ‘excruciating’. The posts were later removed by Twitter for violating their rules.

Her Majesty the Queen died today at the age of 96. Anya’s vile words about the Queen were slammed by thousands online, including billionaire Bezos and journalist Piers Morgan.

Carnegie Mellon University has distanced itself from Anya, saying that her views do not represent the institution. Hundreds of people slammed the crude professor for her comments.

The Foundational Black American organization created a petition to get Anya fired from Carnegie Mellon University for using an ethnic slur. It read: ‘Dr. Uju Anya can not be allowed to use the platform of Carnegie Mellon University to further promote systemic racism’

One person who signed the petition said that the professor can’t be trusted with children, another said that she should be fired, and a third said that she is a hypocrite and an ethnic bigot.

The vicious academic also found herself in hot water when she mocked the death of YouTuber Kevin Samuels in May 2022. Jeff Bezos was one of the many voices slamming the professor for her vile tweets.

Social media users condemned the comments, saying they were disgusting and came from a verified blue tick account.

The Queen’s death will see Britain and her Commonwealth realms enter into a ten-day period of mourning, while her son King Charles will accede to the throne and celebrate his mother’s historic 70-year reign.
