Chief Mike Siefke of the Little Miami Joint Fire & Rescue District mentioned that efforts are underway to contain the vapor by cooling down the affected areas affected. The fire department has enacted an evacuation order for individuals within a half-mile radius of the railyard near U.S. 50 and State Route 128, and a shelter-in-place directive for those within a three-quarter mile radius until further instructions are provided.
