(AbsoluteNews.com) – The border crisis is still raging nearly six months into President Joe Biden’s administration. Vice President Kamala Harris finally went to the border last month, but it doesn’t seem to have made the least bit of difference. Hundreds of thousands of immigrants have poured into the country at the southern border. Recently, the Democratic Party blocked a motion that could have controlled the flow.
On Tuesday, June 29, House Democrats blocked a motion that would have allowed Rep. Yvette Herrell’s (R-NM) bill, the PAUSE Act of 2021, to move forward. The legislation would make the Biden administration enforce a public health order under Title 42 that would allow the Department of Homeland Security to quickly deport immigrants who might be spreading diseases like COVID-19. The president’s team has been trying to weaken that policy.
Herrell said that she believes weakening, or worse yet ending, Title 42 would turn the immigration crisis into “an unmitigated, uncontrollable, and undeniable catastrophe.”

By weakening Title 42, some could argue that Biden is putting America at risk of another wave of COVID-19. There are already reports of illegals released into the US who are sick with the novel coronavirus being allowed to freely roam in the US. By not complying with Title 42, the Democratic Party is allowing virus-stricken immigrants to spread their illnesses into American communities.
