(AbsoluteNews.com) – During the 2020 presidential campaign, Joe Biden told the American people he was going to unify the country. He talked a big game about bipartisanship, but it seems some aides and members of his party aren’t on board with that policy.
On March 3, Breitbart reported there’s a push to move ahead with massive spending bills without any support from the GOP. Rep. Andy Levin (D-MI) said the president has let everyone know what he wants to do and if Republicans want to “work with [Democrats] to achieve that vision” he’s all for it. However, he doesn’t believe the Left should let opposition stop them.
Barack Obama’s former press secretary, Jay Carney, warned Liberals against “waiting too long” to work with Republicans. Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) also thinks they can’t spend too much time working with the other side.
"This is going to be a test for Joe Biden," Sen. Collins says. "The Joe Biden I knew in the Senate was always interested in negotiation. I thought very highly of him…I worked with him. This is going to be a test on whether President Biden is truly interested in bipartisanship."

Republicans have expressed frustration with the lack of bipartisanship. Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) said Biden has always been known for his desire to negotiate, and moving forward without speaking to the GOP would be unlike him. If he does move forward, it will demonstrate just how far to the Left the radicals within his party have pushed him.
