Diddy Drama: Over 100 People Set to Sue Rapper for Sexual Assault and Rape

Houston, Texas – More than 100 individuals are gearing up to file lawsuits against rap musician Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for allegations of sexual assault, rape, and sexual exploitation, according to a lawyer based in Texas. Attorney Tony Buzbee revealed that some of the accusers were minors who claim they were subjected to abuse as young as nine years old.

“This is a significant matter that we are committed to vigorously pursuing,” stated Mr. Buzbee during a press briefing. On the other hand, Erica Wolff, the legal representative for Mr. Combs, vehemently denied the allegations, labeling them as “false and defamatory.”

The accusations against Mr. Combs have resulted in a legal battle, which has escalated with the recent criminal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking that he is facing. Despite denying any wrongdoing, Mr. Combs is currently in federal custody after his request for bail was denied.

The legal actions led by Mr. Buzbee are primarily on behalf of 120 alleged victims, comprising an equal number of men and women from over 25 states in the US. Notably, 25 of these victims were minors at the time of the incidents. The span of allegations ranges from 1991 to as recent as this year, with events allegedly occurring in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami.

Mr. Buzbee shed light on the nature of the incidents, revealing that most of the alleged assaults took place after gatherings hosted by Mr. Combs, either at renowned venues, private residences, hotels, or even during auditions. Victims claim they were induced into compromising situations with promises of career advancements in the entertainment industry.

One particularly disturbing account involved a nine-year-old boy who alleges abuse by Mr. Combs and his associates while seeking a record deal at a recording studio in New York. Another victim, a minor at the time, recounted being promised stardom by Mr. Combs but was coerced into performing sexual acts in exchange.

The attorney emphasized that these lawsuits are not a class action, emphasizing the unique circumstances and traumas faced by each victim. Collaborating with Mr. Buzbee, Attorney Andrew Van Arsdale revealed the overwhelming response their firm received from individuals alleging abuse by the music mogul, hinting at even more potential cases to come.
