Disney Temporarily Puts Bill Murray on Ice Over Latest Allegations

(AbsoluteNews.com) – Bill Murray is one of the most iconic actors of the last 40 years. Several of the movies he starred in — “Groundhog Day,” “Ghostbusters,” “Caddyshack,” etc — are cult classics. Unfortunately, the actor is in a bit of a bind for alleged bad behavior.

According to The New York Times, Disney’s Searchlight Pictures sent a letter to the crew and cast of “Being Mortal,” Murray’s latest film, to announce the suspension of the movie. The Times revealed the letter reportedly said it was aware of a complaint made about the popular actor. The letter went on to say they were looking into the allegations made — which they didn’t reveal the nature of — and decided production of the film couldn’t continue.

A source told The Times the details of what happened are being kept private. The only thing known is there was detailed “inappropriate behavior” by Murray on April 18, just days before the suspension of the movie.

Murray has been accused of behaving poorly in the past. In 2000, actress Lucy Liu accused him of verbally abusing her on the set. He allegedly insulted her and used strong language against her.
