(AbsoluteNews.com) – The 2022 midterms are less than a year away and former President Donald Trump will play a big hand in the elections. His popularity remains incredibly high in the party and voters want to hear what he has to say. Recently, he appeared at a special event in Dallas, TX and had a message for his supporters.
On Sunday, December 19, Trump attended services at First Baptist Church. He was in town to headline an event later in the evening with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly. Devout supporters of the former president arrived at the church for Sunday services and were treated to a holiday message from him. He told worshippers he believes America is in danger.
“There’s a lot of clouds hanging over our country right now,” Trump said. Despite the tumultuous times, he said he believes the US will bounce back and become better than ever before.
The former president said he believes the country needs and has a savior. While some people might have thought he was talking about himself, Trump was quick to clarify he was speaking of someone “much higher up,” speaking of the Lord.
Trump finished his 10-minute speech by reassuring the roughly 4,000 people in the crowd that they’ll make America great again and put the country first.
