A Megabus crashed into a guard rail and flipped over on the New Jersey Turnpike. The bus was en route to Philadelphia before the deadly accident happened.

A double-decker Megabus carrying 20 passengers crashed into a guardrail and overturned in Woodbridge, New Jersey. A Ford F-150 pickup truck was also involved in the crash, but no injuries were reported to its occupants.

Cheryl Johnson, 59, and Cecilia Kiyanitza, 66, were killed in this car crash in New Jersey. Several other passengers were injured. Johnson was found dead at the site of the crash. Kiyanitza, however, died at the hospital due to the injuries she sustained.

Cameron Rogers, 26, was one of the passengers injured in the crash. His father said his son didn’t even have time to truly realize what was happening. All he could do was grab the guard rails.

The accident occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike on Tuesday evening, leaving two people dead and three others seriously injured.

Police responded to the scene at approximately 7pm. First responders found the Megabus turned over near an entrance ramp and assisted those who were critically injured by the crash.

An investigation has been started by the New Jersey police. The details of the crash are still developing.
