Dr. Fauci Falsely Says Trump Doesn't Support Vaccines

(AbsoluteNews.com) – In 2020, the former Trump administration created Operation Warp Speed (OWS), which accelerated COVID-19 vaccine development. After recovering from the coronavirus, former President Donald Trump received the vaccine and publicly told everyone to go get the shot. However, on December 27, NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci accused the ex-leader on CNN of “poisoning the well early on” regarding the inoculation. He said the fact that Trump’s followers booed him after he announced receiving his booster shot was of his own doing.

The doctor seems to believe Trump’s words are too little and coming a bit too late.

How quickly the doctor apparently forgot the former president and his push for a vaccine were instrumental in developing a preventative measure so quickly. Although he praised Trump for recently encouraging others to vaccinate, Fauci alleges the former leader wasn’t enthusiastic or didn’t push the vaccines enough to his followers. He said the alleged misstep is having lingering effects that are a “stumbling block” in controlling the pandemic. Considering his work on OWS, perhaps Fauci could refocus his energy on the new variant and less on pointing erroneous fingers at the person who got the US on the road to recovery.
