Ex-employee crashes car into taco shop

LOS ANGELES, CA – An ex-employee is reportedly in police custody following an alleged intentional collision of her automobile with a popular Canoga Park taco diner. The accident took place on Friday night, leaving the premises in ruins and patrons in shock, but surprisingly, no injuries were reported.

Los Angeles Police Department was promptly at the scene of disorder at Taco Reyes, a favored local taco merchant located in the precincts of Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Saticoy Street. The incident report chronicles how the woman, apparently unhinged, drove her vehicle into the facility’s glass front entrance, creating a frightening spectacle for the diners.

Bailey Thompson, an employee from a nearby bar sharing a wall with the diner, provided a first-hand account of the disturbance. Thompson recounted seeing the woman in question loudly honking from her parked car before crashing it into the taco shop. The woman reportedly created enough leeway for shop attendees to evacuate before proceeding with her erratic ramming of the vehicle into the interior walls of the restaurant.

A witness, wishing to remain unidentified, shared details of the arrest, highlighting that it took a couple of warning shots at the tires and eventually resorting to riot shields before police could take the woman into custody. Thankfully, amid all the chaos, there were no reported casualties.

Interestingly, in a twist to events, the owner of Taco Reyes disclosed that the disruptive woman had previously been an employee at the shop before being let go. Previous events include her vandalizing a taco truck owned by the shop, for which she had been arrested and released after two days. Investigations are underway to determine the reasons behind her misguided actions.

Following an evening of commotion, recovery operations began late into the night, with families of the owners cleaning up the mess and securing the restaurant. It remains closed, as does the neighboring bar, until necessary repairs are completed.
