Federal Indictment Alleges Iranian Hackers Targeted 2020 Election

(AbsoluteNews.com) – Not shockingly at all for anyone who has been paying attention, newly unsealed indictments would seem to indicate the 2020 election may not have been as secure as one would like. These particular indictments and issues surrounding them would also seem to indicate it isn’t just the US election system that’s at risk.

In New York, federal prosecutors are looking into indictments involving two Iranian hackers, Seyyed Mohammad Hosein Musa Kazemi (24) and Sajjad Kashian (27). They’re facing charges of transmission of interstate threats, computer fraud,  voter fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud against the United States.

Though Democrats have been laughing and scoffing at attempts to prove the 2020 election was anything but secure, some of them were also the target of the alleged hackers.

Using the state election system, they gained access to voter data before targeting GOP members, voters, those involved in the Trump campaign and even Democrats. This recent revelation comes on the heels of ongoing audits, a variety of proven election issues in Arizona, and numerous other issues having to do with the 2020 election. Allegedly, the attacks won’t stop there, either. Medical records and other personal accounts may be at risk.
