Law enforcement officers pulled over a truck driven by Yareni Rios-Gonzalez, 20, after they were looking for a suspect in a road rage incident.

Two officers are seen in dash cam footage detaining a driver involved in a road rage incident and placing her inside a patrol vehicle.

Five minutes after being parked in a dangerous position, the police could be seen chatting with a female suspect. A railroad train smashed into the police SUV, sending it hurtling down the tracks with Rios-Gonzalez seated inside.

The lights of the train could be seen barreling toward the car. The freight train struck the police patrol vehicle with their 20-year-old woman handcuffed in the back seat, and police rushed toward the damaged car requesting immediate medical assistance.

Police stopped Rios-Gonzalez’s car just past a set of railroad tracks and parked the patrol vehicle on the crossing. The police vehicle was hit by a train as officers searched the car.

The mother-of-one survived the incident that happened after her arrest. However, she suffered several injuries as a result. She walked away from the collision with nine broken ribs, a broken arm, a fractured sternum and losing several teeth in the accident.
