Baltimore Police were called to the 900 block of Greenmount Avenue early Saturday morning after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. Upon arrival, officers found three men, aged 20, 21, and 29, all suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, the 29-year-old and 21-year-old victims succumbed to their injuries. The 20-year-old victim, however, is expected to survive as his wounds were not life-threatening.
During the investigation, officers received a call about another shooting victim who had walked into a nearby hospital. The victim, a 19-year-old man, had sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds and is currently in critical condition. Preliminary findings suggest that a verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation, leading to the gunfire.
