(AbsoluteNews.com) – It’s been years since Caitlyn Jenner has been a regular on television. Before she transitioned, she starred on the reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” but it ended when she and Kris Jenner divorced. The American people now might see a lot more of her.
On Thursday, March 31, Fox News announced Jenner is joining the network. Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott called the former California gubernatorial nominee a “trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community” and an “inspiration.” Jenner will work as a contributor on the popular cable news network, her first appearance was on Sean Hannity’s show. She told the host although she is transgender, she isn’t an activist. The conservative Olympian explained it’s only “one part of [her] life, there’s so much more to [her].”
Jenner went on to tell Hannity she thinks Florida’s new parental rights law, dubbed the Don’t Say Gay bill is a “good idea” and she believes it’s common sense. The law prohibits discussions of gender identity or sexual orientation in kindergarten through third-grade classrooms.
Jenner went on to say she believes LGBTQ issues will be a hot topic in the 2022 midterms and she’s looking forward to covering them.
Do you think Fox made the right decision by hiring Jenner?
