Gang Of Teens In Chicago Commit 13 Armed Robberies In Five Hours

According to police, 13 armed robberies occurred in Chicago within five hours by a group of teenagers.

Using firearms, the teens approached victims on foot and robbed them. The suspects then fled to their waiting vehicle, according to the Chicago Police Department.

The suspects were described as four black males in their late teens. They committed the crimes between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. Monday.

According to authorities, they were armed with semiautomatic weapons in black and silver. They wore dark clothing and their faces were covered with surgical masks.

In Chicago, there had been a violent weekend before the robberies.

During the weekend violence, 24 shooting incidents were reported and 31 shooting victims, including four juveniles. At least six people were killed, police said.

Chicago is experiencing a flood of ‘crime of opportunity’ that is encouraged by soft-on crime prosecutors in large democrat-run cities. Specifically in Chicago according to data reported by the Chicago Police Department, burglary is up 17% year-over-year. Theft is up 59% and motor vehicle theft is up a staggering 96% year-over-year.
