Law enforcement in Tulare County, California are in the process of investigating a tragic shooting that took the lives of six individuals, including a 17-year-old mother and her 6-month-old baby.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Monday in the 6800 Block of Harvest Road in Goshen, a census-designated area between Bakersfield and Fresno.
When deputies arrived at the home, they found two gunshot victims already dead. After searching the residence, they located four more shooting victims, of which one was alive but passed away shortly after being taken to the hospital.
Reports indicate that the shooting could be related to gangs, and that officers had conducted a drug-related search warrant a week before the incident.
