Immigrants Charged With Voter Fraud

( – Voter fraud has been one of the hottest topics during the run-up to the 2020 election. Democrats insist it’s not a real problem, while Republicans are working hard to protect our democracy. On September 3, ICE proved it’s an issue we should all worry about.

According to a press release by ICE, 19 immigrants were charged with voter fraud in North Carolina. The aliens allegedly voted in the 2016 presidential election. Twelve of the foreign nationals arrested will face misdemeanor charges of voting unlawfully. A grand jury in Wilmington indicted seven others on felony charges including making false statements on voter applications, falsely claiming US citizenship, and unlawfully casting a ballot.

The immigrants charged with felony offenses are facing up to 6 years in federal prison, supervised release, and a $350,000 fine. Those indicted on lesser offenses could spend a year in jail and/or a fine of up to $100,000.

This is a perfect example of why President Donald Trump and the GOP want to implement strict voter laws to protect our election. If 19 illegal voters were caught in this one state, imagine how many more we could have around the country.
