Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Comedian Joe Gatto has recently addressed allegations of sexual assault made against him by a woman on TikTok. In a statement provided to Deadline, Gatto admitted to exercising poor judgment but denied the assault accusations, stating that he values the trust of his loved ones and is committed to self-improvement. He expressed his intention to step back from the public eye to focus on personal growth.
The woman, known on TikTok as joozyb, alleged that Gatto sexually assaulted her at a Milwaukee hotel following one of his shows in September 2023. She shared her experience in a video, detailing how Gatto allegedly invited her to his hotel room after a meet and greet session, using vanish mode to conceal their conversation.
Accompanying her account were screenshots of their direct messages and a photo showing bruises on her back, which she claimed were caused by Gatto. She also mentioned that the incident occurred shortly after Gatto had reconciled with his wife. Despite expressing reluctance to come forward due to Gatto’s public stature, she felt compelled to share her story.
Joe Gatto is known for his involvement with the comedy troupe, Tenderloins, which includes Sal Vulcano, James Murray, and Brian Quinn, and their work on the TruTV series Impractical Jokers. The show, involving hidden camera pranks, aired from 2011 to 2021.
