Los Angeles, CA – Jay Leno was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, appearing to be in good spirits despite sustaining serious injuries over the weekend. The former “Tonight Show” host was seen enjoying lunch, offering a full view of the massive bruise on his face and a soft cast on his left wrist. Leno’s injuries occurred when he decided to take a shortcut down a hillside at a hilltop hotel, resulting in a fall that left him with a swollen eye, a broken wrist, and other serious bruises on one side of his body.
Despite the fall, Leno continued with his show at the Yaamava Casino in Highland, Calif. just three hours later, showing his dedication to his audience. This is not the first time Leno has faced health challenges, as he was previously treated at the Grossman Burn Center for third-degree burns after a gasoline fire incident while working on one of his cars. Leno credited the center’s work for his near-full recovery and joked about having a “brand-new face.”
Additionally, Leno found himself in the hospital once again in January 2023 after a motorcycle accident left him with multiple broken bones. However, after completing physical therapy, Leno expressed that he was “doing good” and “recovering well.” Despite facing multiple accidents and injuries in the past two years, Leno has shown resilience and dedication to his career, continuing to perform and entertain his audience.
As Leno maintains his positive attitude and continues with his busy schedule, fans and supporters can only admire his unwavering spirit and determination to overcome challenges. His ability to find humor and gratitude in the face of adversity showcases his strength and resilience as a performer.
