Jonathan Majors Ex-Girlfriend Drops Lawsuit Accusing Him of Assault and Defamation, Marvel Star’s Legal Battle Ends in Surprise Twist!

NEW YORK – The ex-girlfriend of actor Jonathan Majors has withdrawn her lawsuit accusing him of assault and defamation, according to court records filed on Thursday. Majors, known for his role in the movie “Creed III,” was convicted in December 2023 of misdemeanor assault against Grace Jabbari. Jabbari claimed that Majors attacked her in the back of a car, leading to his court-ordered enrollment in a counseling program. Despite the conviction, Majors has denied any wrongdoing.

Jabbari, a British dancer, had filed a civil suit in March alleging that Majors engaged in malicious prosecution, assault, battery, and defamation during their relationship. The recent court filing stated that all claims against Majors were dismissed with prejudice, with both parties responsible for their own legal fees.

The lawsuit had accused Majors of labeling Jabbari as a liar and claiming innocence in regards to the assault accusations, painting her as mentally unstable. Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, had indicated that counter-claims were being prepared. Majors, known for his role as supervillain Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel franchise, was set to reprise his part in “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” before Marvel ended their association with him following the assault conviction.

Both Jabbari and Majors’ legal representatives were not immediately available for comment. Majors was honored with the Perseverance Award at the annual Impact Awards in Hollywood, where he acknowledged his imperfections and shortcomings in his acceptance speech.
