(AbsoluteNews.com) – When President Donald Trump leaves office, whenever that is, his biggest legacy will be the way he has transformed the federal bench. The Senate has confirmed more than 200 of his judicial nominations, and lawmakers just made history with another confirmation.
On Wednesday, November 18, the Senate confirmed the nomination of attorney Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, 33, to the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Tampa.
Although her nomination was shrouded in controversy because of her age and lack of trial experience, she has an impeccable resume. Not only has she worked for the DOJ, but she also clerked for the court she will sit on, as well as the Supreme Court of the US, US District Court for DC, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
