MONTECITO, Calif. – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated their daughter Princess Lilibet’s upcoming third birthday at their home in Montecito, California. The couple gathered with close friends and family to mark the occasion, reported by People magazine.
Markle recently shared details about Princess Lilibet’s personality, revealing that dance was her favorite class at the Lightway Academy in Nigeria. The couple also has a son, Prince Archie, who is five years old.
During a trip to Nigeria to promote mental health awareness, Markle expressed missing her children on Mother’s Day. She emphasized the importance of being in the ‘motherland’ and among family on the special occasion.
Prince Harry and Meghan tied the knot in May 2018 and welcomed their children, Archie and Lilibet, in May 2019 and June 2021, respectively. They currently reside in a $14 million mansion in Montecito.
Tensions have arisen between Harry, Meghan, and the royal family since their decision to step back from royal duties in 2020. The relationship became even more strained after the release of Harry’s memoir and the couple’s Netflix series.
Last year, the royal family notably did not acknowledge Princess Lilibet’s second birthday on social media, sparking rumors of further discord within the family. The couple’s actions and projects have played a role in the ongoing tensions within the royal family.
