‘Malcolm in the Middle’ 25th Anniversary Reunion: First Look at Frankie Muniz with Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek on Set!

Los Angeles, California – Frankie Muniz recently delighted fans by sharing a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram with his “Malcolm in the Middle” co-stars Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek as they film the revival of the beloved series for Disney+. The photo comes as the show celebrates its 25th anniversary since premiering on Fox in 2000.

The trio is set to reprise their iconic roles as Malcolm, Hal, and Lois in the revival of the show. Joining them are original cast members Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield, who will be returning as Malcolm’s older brothers Francis and Reese. Caleb Ellsworth-Clark will take on the role of Malcolm’s younger brother Dewey, originally played by Erik Per Sullivan.

In this new incarnation of “Malcolm in the Middle,” Muniz will be portraying Malcolm as a father, with Keeley Karsten playing his daughter. The storyline revolves around the family’s chaos as they prepare for Hal and Lois’ 40th wedding anniversary party.

The revival has brought back series creator Linwood Boomer as the writer and executive producer. Other executive producers include Cranston, Tracy Katsky, Gail Berman, and the Milchan family from New Regency. Ken Kwapis is set to direct all four episodes and serve as an executive producer, while Jimmy Simons and Laura Delahaye will be co-executive producers.

Originally airing for seven seasons on Fox with a total of 151 episodes, “Malcolm in the Middle” concluded on May 14, 2006. Fans of the show are eagerly anticipating the revival and the chance to see their favorite characters back on the screen.
