His son, 43-year-old Christopher Miller, has been arrested for allegedly shooting his father multiple times.
The incident unfolded on Bruno Lane, where both John and Christopher resided. According to police reports, tensions escalated on the morning of the incident following a series of unfortunate events. Christopher had been involved in a car accident earlier and was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital. While there, he allegedly engaged in a physical altercation, prompting further concern.
