Man allegedly hires hitman to kill his ex-girlfriend while she was working

A man from Georgia has been accused of murdering his former partner. Law enforcement confirmed that the man employed an assassin to take the victim’s life.

On December 9th at around 2:30 in the afternoon, Courtney Owens, aged 34, lost her life as a result of a shooting in the Snellville car dealership she worked at. This was confirmed by a press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Upon arriving at the business, law enforcement agents discovered the dead woman’s body. Additionally, a bystander reported seeing an individual wearing a mask and carrying a gun walking away from the location.

After just under a month of investigation, the police apprehended and charged 23-year-old Wesley Vickers as the supposed shooter with felony murder, malice murder, and aggravated assault. According to WSB-TV, he is being detained at the Gwinnett Detention Center.

It is unknown as to whether Vickers has pleaded to the charges or if he has found a lawyer to represent him. Shortly following, law enforcement officials were able to pinpoint another individual that was thought to be linked to Owens’ death.

Law enforcement alleges that Stoney Williams, 41, employed Vickers to take the life of Owens. It is said that Williams is the former romantic partner of Owens, and that he was also her business partner at the time.

The police department has reported that he is facing charges of malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault, though no arrest has been made yet.

Investigators have reported that Williams is known by several different names, such as Sherrod Eric Henry, Jaheim Lamar, Lawrence Tyrell Robinson, X Superman and more. The motive behind the murder has not been revealed by the authorities yet.
