Man Arrested For Murder Of Two People Left Dead In The Car With Their Kids

North Carolina authorities have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that left two people dead.

Police found Devone Brown, 28, and Destiny Wiggins, 24, dead in a car Thursday morning with two young children.

In connection with their deaths, Rocky Mount police arrested 42-year-old Eric Coley, who has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

The victims, along with the two children in the backseat, were discovered by Barnhill Contracting Company employees arriving at work.

Although the children were not physically harmed, they were still taken to the hospital since they were exposed to cold temperatures for a long period of time.

The children are in the care of family members and are stable.

Coley is reportedly being held without bond in a detention facility.

The first appearance in court is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Dec. 5. Eric Coley is a felon and has an existing criminal record.
