Netflix Ratings Revealed: Meghan Markle’s With Love Fails to Impress in Top Ten Chart

Los Angeles, California – The lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan,” featuring Meghan Markle, garnered attention from viewers and critics alike. However, the show faced challenges in the ratings department, barely making it into Netflix’s top ten weekly ratings chart.

In its debut week on the streaming platform, the eight-part series accumulated 12.6 million hours viewed, securing the tenth spot on the ratings chart. This placed it behind the ratings leader, a comedy called “Running Point” led by Kate Hudson, which amassed 61.8 million hours viewed during the same week.

Despite the initial struggles of “With Love, Meghan,” comparisons were drawn to the success of the documentary series “Harry & Meghan,” which premiered in December 2022. The latter became Netflix’s most successful documentary debut, attracting a significant audience with 81.6 million hours viewed in the first three days, and continued to rise to 97.7 million hours in its first full week on the platform.

Additional projects by the royal couple, such as the documentary series “Live To Lead,” did not make it into the top ten on Netflix, making it challenging to determine their viewership numbers. Similarly, “Heart of Invictus” and Harry’s Polo series also failed to crack the top ten in their debut weeks, leaving their weekly viewership figures unavailable.

“With Love, Meghan” showcases Markle hosting various guests, including Mindy Kaling and chef Roy Choi, engaging in activities like cooking, hosting tea parties, and exploring nature. Produced by Sony’s IPC and Markle’s Archewell Productions, the series initially received a two-season order, with the second season scheduled to premiere later this year.

In the broader spectrum of Netflix’s top ten, other contenders like Robert De Niro’s “Zero Day” claimed the second spot, followed by “Toxic Town,” the first season of Paramount+’s “Halo,” “American Murder: Gabby Petitot,” “Beauty in Black,” “WWE Raw,” “Andrew Schulz: Life,” and season seven of “Formula 1: Drive To Survive.” These diverse offerings highlight the variety of content captivating audiences on the streaming platform.
