New FBI Texts Expose James Comey’s Terrible Handling of Crossfire Hurricane

( – When President Donald Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey in 2017, the Left cried foul. They claimed the commander-in-chief did it to stop the Russia investigation. Trump said it was because Comey was doing a bad job, and a September 24 court filing in the Michael Flynn case proves the POTUS was right.

According to the filing by Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell, FBI agents were so disturbed by Comey’s Crossfire Hurricane case they purchased liability insurance. The agents believed they needed it to protect themselves from lawsuits related to the agency’s seemingly illegal behavior. The documents filed included text messages between agents, as well.

On January 10, 2017, one agent texted, “[W]e all went and purchased professional liability insurance.”

Another agent responded, “Holy crap. All the analysts too?”

The first agent confirmed, and then the two discussed the possibility of a lawsuit after a New York Times story broke about a DOJ leak.

The latest news comes just after another filing that revealed Special Agent William Barnett said he believed the point of the investigation was to “get Trump.”

The more information that comes out about the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, the shadier it seems. Former Director Comey was supposed to uphold the law, but it seems Trump was right — he was leading a witch hunt instead.
