Pokémon Company and Honda Unveil Stunning Koraidon Motorbike Replica in Tokyo Exhibit – Experience Pokémon Scarlet in Real Life!

Tokyo, Japan – The collaboration between The Pokémon Company and Honda has brought to life a new concept motorbike based on Koraidon, the cover star of Pokémon Scarlet version. This impressive scale replica of the Pokémon, capable of transforming into a motorbike in the video games, will be showcased at Tokyo’s Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama from March 7 to March 9. This partnership marks the second time the two companies have joined forces to create a Pokémon-themed bike, following Toyota’s creation of a motorbike inspired by Miraidon, the cover star of Pokémon Violet last year.

While these bikes are not fully operational, they aim to replicate the “size and weight” of the Pokémon characters. The fate of these replicas after the exhibition remains uncertain, with the possibility of them being relocated to one of the various Pokémon Center retail stores in the country, where giant statues of Pokémon are often featured. Koraidon and Miraidon play significant roles in the latest mainline games of the Pokémon franchise, serving not only as initial encounters for players but also transforming into a bike, a boat, and a climbing tool for players to navigate the virtual world.

This exhibit is part of a series of month-long events across Japan commemorating Pokémon Day, which celebrated its 29th year on February 27. The Pokémon Company marked this occasion with its annual Pokémon Presents stream, confirming the release of new episodes of Pokémon Concierge and unveiling a brand-new game, Pokémon Champions. Additionally, the company shared details about the highly anticipated Pokémon game, Pokémon Legends, Z-A, set for release on the Nintendo Switch later this year, although a specific launch date has yet to be announced.
