Toronto, Ontario – Sarah Michelle Gellar, best known for her role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has joined the cast of Searchlight’s Radio Silence sequel Ready Or Not: Here I Come. This new installment will also feature Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, and David Cronenberg, with filming already underway in Toronto today.
The talented cast joins previously announced actors Samara Weaving and Kathryn Newton in the script penned by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy. Filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, also known as Radio Silence, expressed their excitement about working with this talented ensemble and continuing the story of Ready or Not.
President of Searchlight Pictures, Matthew Greenfield, shared his enthusiasm for collaborating with Radio Silence once again. With Ready Or Not: Here I Come, the team aims to deliver a fresh and thrilling experience to audiences, continuing the success of the first film.
The project is overseen by VP of Production Richard Ruiz and Creative Executive Cornelia Burleigh at Searchlight Pictures. Producers include Tripp Vinson, James Vanderbilt, Bradley J. Fischer, and William Sherak, with various other prominent figures serving as executive producers.
Elijah Wood, known for his iconic role in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, joins the cast alongside Gellar. Hatosy, who stars in The Pitt and has appeared in several acclaimed series and films, adds his talent to the lineup.
Carbonell, who has been in major productions like Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight, also contributes his expertise to the cast. Additionally, Durand and Cronenberg bring their respective skills and experiences to Ready Or Not: Here I Come.
