(AbsoluteNews.com) – The new Congress was sworn in two months ago. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has filled many of the committee spots but one of the most important is still mostly empty. A Republican lawmaker is now demanding answers.
On March 5, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) spoke to the Washington Examiner’s “Examining Politics” host Larry O’Connor about the House Intelligence Committee. He told the podcast host that the only two members on that committee so far are him and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the chairman. Rep. Nunes called it “rather strange” that the speaker has not “agreed on ratios” or said who else will be given a seat.

The House Intel Committee is one of the most important in Congress. The representatives who sit on it oversee the entire US intelligence community. The fact that Pelosi has it operating with a skeleton crew is not only disturbing, but it could also put the country in danger.
