On Monday, November 9, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said the president has every right to look into allegations of voter fraud. Georgia Senators Kelly Loeffler (R) and David Perdue (R) are calling on the state’s GOP secretary of state to resign over what they called “failures” in the Peach State’s election system.

Other lawmakers are also supporting the president’s lawsuits. Trump and the GOP want to ensure that people did not vote illegally. They are also concerned about states passing laws to help alter the outcome of the presidential race. Pennsylvania, for example, accepted mail-in ballots until November 6.
