New York City, NY – Samsung is set to revolutionize its budget-friendly phone lineup with enhanced AI capabilities. The introduction of the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 will now include advanced “awesome intelligence” features, bringing AI-powered image editing tools typically found in the more expensive S25 models to a wider audience. Among these features is the innovative Best Face tool, allowing users to seamlessly swap facial expressions in motion photos of up to five individuals, similar to the functionality offered by Google Pixel.
In addition to the new AI enhancements, Samsung has also implemented subtle design modifications to each phone in the A-series. All three devices now boast a 6.7-inch full HD Plus display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, an upgrade from the previous models with smaller screens. The A56, for instance, features a 12MP ultrawide sensor, 50MP main camera, and 5MP macro camera, along with a 12MP selfie shooter. While the A56 is equipped with an upgraded Exynos 1580 chip, the A36 comes with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip from the previous generation.
Moreover, the A56 and A36 models support 45W charging and come with a “larger vapor chamber” for enhanced performance. Samsung has also included IP67 dust and water resistance on the A26 for the first time. Each phone will run on Android 15 and will be offered in a variety of colors to cater to different preferences.
The Galaxy A56, priced at $499, is positioned as the highest-end model in the series and is expected to launch in the US later this year. On the other hand, the A36 will be exclusively available at Best Buy starting at $399 on March 26th, while the A26 will hit the market on March 28th at a price of $299. For consumers in the UK, the phones will be available starting March 19th, with the A56, A36, and A26 priced at £499, £399, and £299, respectively.
With the incorporation of cutting-edge AI features, improved design elements, and competitive pricing, Samsung aims to widen the accessibility of advanced technology to a broader audience with its latest A-series phone models. Let’s wait to see how these new smartphones perform in the market and if they can shake up the competition in the budget-friendly segment.
