Taylor Swift Targeted: Legal Drama Unfolds with Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni!

New York – Taylor Swift has found herself embroiled in a legal dispute between actor Justin Baldoni and actress Blake Lively, prompting her representatives to speak out against what they describe as an attempt to exploit her name for publicity. Swift, 35, has been summoned to appear in court regarding allegations that she encouraged Baldoni to accept script revisions made by Lively for the film It Ends With Us, which is currently at the center of a sexual harassment lawsuit.

According to court documents, Baldoni claims he was invited to Lively’s New York residence in 2023 to discuss changes to the movie’s script. He alleges that both Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, and Swift were present to back her during the discussion. However, Swift’s team emphasizes that she played no part in the film’s casting or creative processes and did not review any edits or provide feedback.

Lively, 37, filed her lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, in December 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her. In turn, Baldoni has counter-sued Lively and Reynolds on various charges, including civil extortion and defamation. The conflict apparently arose following the release of the film last summer, which is based on Colleen Hoover’s popular novel.

Baldoni recounted an unsettling experience during the script revisions, expressing surprise at the unexpected presence of Reynolds and Swift. He shared a text from Lively in which she likened herself to Khaleesi, a character from Game of Thrones, declaring that she had "dragons" to protect her interests. In response, Baldoni praised Lively’s talent and contributions to the script, expressing gratitude for their collaboration.

Additionally, there are claims that Swift influenced the casting of Isabela Ferrer, who plays a younger version of Lively’s character, Lily Bloom. Ferrer later remarked at the film’s New York premiere that Swift had been instrumental during her audition, a revelation that left her astonished.

However, Swift’s representatives maintain that her only connection to the film was the licensing of her song, "My Tears Ricochet." They assert that she never visited the film’s set, did not participate in casting decisions, and only viewed the completed film weeks after its release due to her touring commitments.

The spokesperson for Swift expressed concern that the subpoena appears to be a strategy to generate media attention rather than focusing on the substantive issues of the lawsuit. By invoking Swift’s name, they argue, the situation is being distorted into sensationalist tabloid fodder rather than remaining grounded in the facts of the ongoing legal battle. As this high-profile case unfolds, the complex relationships and accusations continue to attract scrutiny from both fans and the media alike.
