(AbsoluteNews.com) – On May 17, CBS’ “60 Minutes” aired an interview with former Director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, Dr. Rick Bright. The network dubbed him a “whistleblower” as he went on to accuse President Donald Trump of mishandling the COVID-19 pandemic response. The commander-in-chief, however, isn’t taking these accusations lying down.
During the interview, Bright claimed he warned the Trump Administration about the seriousness of the coronavirus. According to him, they not only ignored his advice but then reassigned him, pushing him out of his top job. The doctor went on to file a whistleblower complaint.

President Trump, however, says that’s utter garbage and slammed CBS for the hyped-up interview by a “disgruntled” employee.

Interestingly, Bright still works in the government. Doesn’t it seem a little odd the president would just move him to another department and not get rid of him completely if what he says is true? And if you believed you were essentially demoted for warning the government, would you continue to work for the same people you believe are corrupt?
