(AbsoluteNews.com) – When President Donald Trump was elected, one of his top priorities was to dismantle the international gang MS-13. On July 15, the president announced his team was having great success so far. Not only that, the government is seeking the death penalty in two killings related to the criminal organization.
During a Wednesday press conference, Trump and Attorney General William Barr announced the feds are asking for the death penalty for Alexi Saenz in the murder of two Brentwood, NY teenage girls. The AG also said another MS-13 member was charged with terrorism; this is the first time the US has used those charges against the gang.

President Trump touted his administration’s response to the deadly gang’s activities. According to the commander-in-chief, ICE has deported over 16,000 members of MS-13 and arrested more than 2,000.
The Trump Administration is fighting for safety, security, and rule of law.

The president’s actions to dismantle the gang are huge. MS-13 began in Los Angeles in the 1980s, but it has spread to other countries and become one of the deadliest criminal organizations in the world. In 2012, the gang was declared an international crime group, but Trump has made it a mission of his to stop its growth and put these criminals in prison where they belong.
It’s just one more example of how Trump is, indeed, the law and order president.
