Two men arrested for multi-state robbery spree

ORLANDO, FL – A cross-country crime spree came to a dramatic halt in Orange County, where two men were taken into custody for a series of audacious robberies. Julian Galindo and Julian Garcia, both facing charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, and impersonating law enforcement, were detained in connection with crimes in multiple states.

On Wednesday, the pair appeared before a judge, who denied them bail, underscoring the gravity of their alleged offenses. The Orlando Police Department responded to a robbery incident on October 30 at a massage parlor located on Bumby Avenue. Authorities reported that the suspects disguised themselves as police officers to gain entry before executing the heist.

A witness, who wished to remain anonymous, described the ordeal as terrifying, a sentiment echoed by many in the community. Investigators linked Galindo and Garcia to the crime scene through fingerprints found on security cameras they attempted to disable and inside the premises.

Just a day before the Bumby Avenue incident, the suspects allegedly struck another location, Golden Gate Massage. Here, they posed as law enforcement, coerced victims upstairs, and brandished a knife to intimidate them. They reportedly seized $4,000 in cash before forcing the victims to disrobe and confining them to a room.

This brazen modus operandi was not an isolated incident. Further investigation revealed a pattern of similar robberies targeting massage parlors across Texas, California, Missouri, and now Florida. The duo’s alleged involvement in this string of crimes paints a troubling picture of calculated criminal activity.

The charges against Galindo and Garcia carry severe penalties, with the armed robbery count alone potentially leading to a 30-year prison sentence. As the investigation unfolds, both men remain held without bond in Orange County Jail, facing a future that appears increasingly uncertain.

The case has sparked discussions about the safety of businesses and the effectiveness of law enforcement in preventing such crimes. As authorities piece together the details, communities affected by these robberies are left grappling with the aftermath.

The unfolding legal proceedings will likely shed more light on the suspects’ motivations and whether they acted alone or as part of a broader network. For now, the arrest marks a significant step in addressing these unsettling crimes.
