Two people killed in shooting at a motorcycle club gathering

FOREST PARK, GA – Authorities in Forest Park are in pursuit of a suspect following a violent incident that left two people dead and two others critically injured during a Sunday afternoon gathering. The tragic event unfolded at a motorcycle club meeting that was promoted online, drawing a crowd of between 150 to 200 attendees.

Forest Park Police have identified the deceased as Anthony Hearns, 39, and Isaiah Mack, 25, both residents of Georgia but not from Forest Park itself. The gathering, intended as a social event, turned deadly following an argument, though details remain unclear.

The chaos erupted a mere five minutes from the local police headquarters, complicating the investigation as officials work to piece together what led to the shootings. Witnesses are being sought to provide critical information, and authorities are canvassing the area for surveillance footage that might shed light on the incident.

Adding to the complexity of the case, the venue where the gathering took place is under scrutiny. According to city officials, the establishment lacks proper licensing and should not have been operational. Attempts to contact the business have been unsuccessful, with phone lines disconnected and locals reporting minimal activity at the site, which is nestled in a typically quiet part of town.

Forest Park Police Chief issued a stern warning, emphasizing that such behavior would not be tolerated within the city limits. “It’s often outsiders coming in to commit crimes,” the chief noted, vowing that the city would not tolerate such disruptions.

In addition to the fatalities, two other individuals were wounded in the shooting and remain in critical condition at local hospitals. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward to aid in the investigation.

As the community grapples with this tragedy, the search for answers continues. The investigation remains active, with police determined to bring those responsible to justice.
