FOREST PARK, GA – Authorities in Forest Park are in pursuit of a suspect following a violent incident that left two people dead and two others critically injured during a Sunday afternoon gathering. Forest Park Police have identified the deceased as Anthony Hearns, 39, and Isaiah Mack, 25, both residents of Georgia but not from Forest Park itself. The gathering, intended as a social event, turned deadly following an argument, though details remain unclear.
The chaos erupted a mere five minutes from the local police headquarters, complicating the investigation as officials work to piece together what led to the shootings. Witnesses are being sought to provide critical information, and authorities are canvassing the area for surveillance footage that might shed light on the incident.
