(AbsoluteNews.com) – On September 9, President Joe Biden announced a sweeping vaccine mandate for federal workers. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin had already mandated the shots for military members. A group of federal employees, including US troops, are trying to put an end to the requirements.
On September 23, a Secret Service agent, four Air Force officers and other federal employees sued the Biden administration in US District Court in Washington. The plaintiffs wanted an injunction against the vaccine mandates. The lawsuit states, “Americans have remained idle for far too long as our nation’s elected officials continue to satisfy their voracious appetites for power.”
In August, two active-duty service members filed a suit against Defense Secretary Austin in a separate suit. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Hollie Mulvihill and Army Staff Sgt. Dan Roberts want exemptions for those with natural immunities — those who have already had COVID-19 and have natural antibodies.

Unlike the president’s mandates for some businesses, there’s no testing option for federal employees. The service members and others want to be able to opt-out of the forced medical procedure.
Do you think employers, federal or private, have a right to enforce vaccine mandates?
