Valentine’s Day release for “Paddington in Peru” delays U.S. audiences’ enjoyment – but there’s a silver lining!

Los Angeles, California – The highly anticipated third installment of the popular Paddington film franchise, titled “Paddington in Peru,” will now be hitting U.S. theaters on Valentine’s Day, shifting from its original Jan. 2025 release date. This rescheduling places the family-friendly movie on a double holiday weekend during President’s Day, providing ample opportunity for families and audiences to enjoy the film during a long weekend break.

“Paddington 3” has already seen success in the U.K., breaking records with its opening weekend earnings and continuing the beloved storyline of the charming bear from Peru. Voiced by Ben Whishaw, Paddington embarks on a new adventure to search for his missing Aunt Lucy, alongside the Brown family, as they journey through the Amazon rainforest and the mountainous regions of Peru.

The star-studded cast of the film includes returning actors Hugh Bonneville, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Madeleine Harris, and Samuel Joslin, with new additions such as Olivia Colman, Emily Mortimer, Carla Tous, and Antonio Banderas adding to the ensemble.
