Disturbing video shows man with an ax ‘menacing’ customers at New York McDonald’s – NBC News
When stepping inside to orrder at McDonald’s, the last thing that any customer would expect to encounter is aggressive violence. However, for these New York customers, the reality of random acts of violence became all too real.
A 31-year-old male was arrested for attacking customers at a McDonald’s with an ax he removed from his backpack during a dispute with three other males. Victims did not report any injuries.
The man was arrested Friday after a fight at a McDonald’s in New York City. He used a small ax to smash a table and shattered a glass barrier, and then punched a patron and approached several others but did not appear to inflict any injuries.
The man who wielded the axe was charged with criminal mischief, three counts of menacing, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon after slicing a hole in the wall next to the bathroom at a McDonald’s.
The incident was shared on social media, and people could not believe that something so chaotic happened in real life.

The suspect got into a physical dispute with three unknown males inside a McDonald’s in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, and was taken into custody by responding officers.
McDonald’s restaurant owner-operator Paul Hendel said he was shocked by the acts of violence committed in his restaurant.
