White House in Panic Mode After Chinese Military Makes Bold New Move

(AbsoluteNews.com) – Tensions between the United States and China have been high among alleged human rights violations, weapons testing and a possible looming invasion of Taiwan. In yet another aggressive move by the Asian nation, China reportedly plans to create a permanent military base on Equatorial Guinea’s port city of Bata. The country’s location is right under the horn of Africa on the Atlantic coast, a position that poses a national security threat to the US and other countries in the Western Hemisphere.

President Joe Biden previously stated he doesn’t intend to let China surpass the US in power during his time in the White House. Since Bata has a deep water port, which the Chinese military could use to rearm and repair warships, the administration needs to block the move.

Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer traveled to Africa in October to visit President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and his son to convince them to reject the proposal from China. There’s no word whether the leaders will follow Finer’s advice. If not, Commander of US Africa Command and General Stephen Townsend stated China’s potential position on the Atlantic coast of Africa would be a “significant threat.”
