(AbsoluteNews.com) – On Thursday, March 4, the New York Times and Wall Street Journal alleged New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D) aides rewrote a nursing home report to hide the real death toll. The allegations led to outrage across the country. Democrats largely stayed silent, but the White House threw the governor under the bus…kind of.
During the daily briefing Friday, a reporter asked Press Secretary Jen Psaki about the allegations. She responded that the Biden administration has seen the reports, calling them “troubling.” The press sec went on to say the president supports “any outside investigation” into the New York governor.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said reports that aides of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo rewrote a report to decrease the number of coronavirus nursing home deaths are "troubling" and that the Biden administration supported an independent review.https://t.co/6xYOUGwJLn

It’s important to note that although the Biden administration is saying it supports an investigation into Cuomo, neither the press secretary or the president have actually condemned him. So, they’re willing to throw him under the bus in front of the mainstream media, but not actually forcefully speak out against his actions. It’s exactly the kind of tepid response we have come to expect from the Biden team.
